These records testify to his involvement with N.C.E which was , according to the then Police Commissioner, the hotbed of sedition". This book, for the first time , contains the IB and Police record pointing P.C. Ray as Revolutionary in the grab of a scientists. His laboratory was engaged in manufacturing explosives for the use of revolutionaries, as recounted by many of his followers, mostly students, and also by renowned historian like R.C. Majumdar. Also the IB Records show that the Khadi Pratisthan established by P.C.Ray was under constant police surveillance and even attack.
